N C Power System carries the complete line of Caterpillar® engine and power systems products covering a vast territory that includes central and western Washington, central and eastern Montana, northwestern Wyoming, northwestern North Dakota and the state of Alaska. We are the Pacific Northwest's Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

We are seeking a candidate to become a member of our winning team! As a Site Superintendent with our Data Center group, you will oversee our Quincy, WA and or San Antonio, TX installations.

About the Position:

The Senior Project Engineer will provide support and leadership for NC's data center projects to ensure customer satisfaction on site at the installation locations. This position will establish work plan and staffing to complete each phase of project in a timely and cost effective time period on the site. This position will also coordinate site projects and status reports and submit to management, client and/or others. You will work closely with the contractor's site superintendent and confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. This position will attend contractor led field meetings on site daily and resolve daily whiteboard issues for action items related to scope. You will be on-site daily during project delivery, construction, commissioning, and turnover. Document and photograph deliveries to the site. Conduct daily safety briefings & manage daily task list and priorities for field technicians. Additional Responsibilities will include: Submit MSPs (CMOP) for various task as needed to contractor project clerk and or Facilities. This position will have overall responsibility for the site supervision and project management at site for NC's Data Center Business at each installation site.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

BA/BS in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent, project management experience in related field with 3-5 years industry/project management experience, preferably in a Caterpillar dealership. Knowledge of diesel engine generators applications, including Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, MTU and Volvo diesel engines and generators. Candidate must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English, Ability to work in a stressful environment, must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks and projects on a regular basis. MS Office skills with AutoCad and Adobe preferred. Clear understanding of fabrication shop practices and procedures. A valid State Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required.
